There aren’t any official channels to buy the Nintendo Switch but there are several online and offline retailers who are happy to sell you the console, albeit at a slight premium
The Nintendo Switch has sold a whopping 125 million units since its launch back in 2017, making it one of the best-selling consoles from Nintendo even beating the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

The Nintendo Switch is probably the most impressive handheld console that Nintendo has ever made. This is no surprise considering that it has sold a mind-boggling 125 million copies worldwide ever since its release in 2017, falling behind the one and only Nintendo DS. Although Nintendo does not have official retail stores set in India, we can still get our hands on the console through other vendors like Amazon, Flipkart, and more. Let’s take a look at the current price of the Switch in India along with its games.

Nintendo Switch prices in India

Although there are no official channels to purchase the Nintendo Switch in India, Gamers can still acquire them from other retailers who import the console to the Indian market. Do keep in mind that you are going to have to pay a small premium for them, considering import taxes, shipping charges, and such. Here are the standard prices for the Nintendo Switch OLED and the Switch Lite from Amazon and Flipkart.

Amazon

Nintendo Switch OLED 64GB: ₹32,990(approx)

Nintendo Switch Lite 32GB: ₹17,999 to ₹19,999(depending on the color)

Flipkart

Nintendo Switch OLED 64GB: ₹32,999(approx)

Nintendo Switch Lite 32GB: ₹17,999 to ₹19,999(depending on the color)

Unfortunately, since there are no official channels, customers are at the mercy of online return policies if they are delivered a faulty device. There is not much after-sales support either, which means you have to rely on local repair stores if you run into any issues with your Switch.

Also, keep in mind that these prices might fluctuate depending on the seller. There are also specific editions for the Switch OLED like the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Edition and the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition which will cost a bit more than the standard edition.

Furthermore, if you are on a tight budget, there are reliable stores like Gameloot and CEX that will sell you a pre-owned Switch. These prices may vary depending on the version and its storage capacity.

Where to buy Nintendo Switch games in India

Similar to the Console, Nintendo does not offer any official stores to buy physical copies of its games. However, you can buy the digital version of games from the Nintendo eshop directly from your console.

If you want to buy physical copies of your favorite Switch titles, there are tons of sellers available online from Flipkart and Amazon. Furthermore, there are offline stores such as CEX that will allow you to trade, sell or buy pre-owned Nintendo games. Just make sure to look up if the service is available in your area.

Nintendo Switch Game prices

The prices of games vary depending on the type of game it is. Physical copies of first-party titles like Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will cost you a pretty penny(around ₹4,000 to ₹5,000) however Indie game titles like Celeste, Stardew Valley, etc. would be a whole lot cheaper (₹800 to ₹1,700 approximately) as you purchase them digitally.
